Sunday Gatherings - 11am
When we come together on a Sunday morning we are reminded that lots of different types of people call Larkhall Baptist Church their home. All kinds of people from all kinds of places with all kinds of backgrounds. Young and old, different abilities, talents, skills and backgrounds.
We come together to serve one another, to hear what God says to us, to pray and to listen to the Bible explained in a way that's both easy to understand and relevant to the rest of our lives!
We meet on different days and in different ways throughout the week as well, but Sunday is always the highlight of our week and all are welcome to join us.
On Sundays we have different programmes that run for our 0-4s and for our 5-12s.
We realise that all churches do things slightly differently. And we also realise that if you've never been to church before, you might not know what to expect. Most of our gatherings usually involve these four things

Singing
When we gather we start our time by singing. We're told that singing to God is part of what we are to do when we gather. God said this to his people in the Old Testament and it is something that has continued ever since!

Preaching
We spend time gathered around the Word of God - listening to what God is saying to us through a particular bit of the Bible.

Praying
We spend part of our time praying as well. We pray for our church; as well as for our nation and our leaders. We pray for individuals in our church who are might be sick or struggling as well as for those who are celebrating! Prayer is a big part of our time together.

Sharing
Most weeks we share communion. We spend some time towards the end of our gathering remembering that Jesus died and rose again for us.
Regular events
We have a range of different things going on during the week - they are open to anyone who would like to come and join us. You can register for many of the different things from this page, or if you'd like more information, fill in the contact form.
Sunday
LBC Tots
LBC Tots is our regular Sunday morning ministry for the very youngest in our church. It's an opportunity for them to hear God's big story and to learn how much God loves them.

LBC Kids is our regular Sunday morning ministry for the young people in our church who are in Primary 1 - Primary 7.
Sunday
Messy Church
(Last Sunday of the month)
Messy Church is a way of doing church for the whole family. We meet on the first Sunday of each month, between 3pm-5pm. We sing some songs, we hear a Bible story and we do some crafts and activities together. We then take the time to eat together as well!
Tuesday
Girls' Brigade
Our Girls Brigade meet on a Tuesday evening between 6:00pm-7:30pm. Girls' Brigade is for girls between the ages of 4-18.
Tuesday
Prayer Gathering - Online
We come together on a Tuesday evening on Zoom at 7:30pm to pray for one another, for our church, for our town and for our world.
Wednesday
Rainbow Toddlers
Our Rainbow Toddlers group meets every Wednesday morning between 10-11:30am. If you're a parent with a little one (or multiple little ones!) feel free to come along. They can play whilst you are able to sit back - we will provide the tea and coffee and the snacks!

Prayer Gathering - In-person
(Last Wednesday of the month)
We come together on the last Wednesday of the month, from 7:30pm-8:30pm to pray for one another, for our church, for our town and for our world. We meet in-person in the church in order to hear what God is saying to us and to encourage one another.
Thursday
Prayer Gathering - In-person
We come together in person on a Thursday morning at 10:00am to pray for one another, for our church and for our town. We meet in person in the church in order to hear what God is saying to us and to encourage one another. This usually lasts for about 30-45 minutes.
Saturday
Pancake Breakfast
(Last Saturday of the month)
Our pancake breakfast takes place on the last Saturday of each month. This is a good opportunity to connect with other people in the church. This is an open event that anyone is welcome to come to.
