Larkhall Baptist Church has been serving Larkhall for over 100 years! Obviously things have changed a lot in that time, but one thing hasn't - our absolute certainty that Jesus can and does change lives. We believe it because we've seen it happen!
We've all lived different lives. We've all had different experiences. Some of them have been good, and some have been bad. But regardless of your background, the experiences you have had or the things that have happened to you - there's space for you here at Larkhall Baptist Church.
We want to serve our town, and our community in the best way possible. We want to serve and care for everyone who comes through our doors. So whether you know Jesus already and are looking for a new church to call home, or whether you are just beginning to explore who Jesus is and want to find out more, then you're welcome here!
Mission
We want to create a space where everyone who joins us can experience God. God speaks to us in different ways and we are able to hear Him in different ways - some through prayer, some through singing, some through hearing the Word of God clearly explained. We want everyone to know that you are valued here, no matter how young or old, no matter your ability or background. We want to welcome you because Jesus welcomed us!
Vision
We want to see Jesus raised up and made known in every part of our lives. We believe that nothing can stand in the way of that. Not your background or experiences, not even the type of person you've been. God can and does transform us and our situations so that we can be the kinds of people He wants us to be.
Values
We believe that, by gathering regularly we can hear what God says to us and can be equipped to live that out in our daily lives.
We believe that God has made a massive difference in our lives - we wouldn't be the people that we are today if it weren't for all the things He's done for us. But this isn't something that's only reserved for those who have lived a certain kind of life, or who are good enough, instead it's something that can be experienced by everyone!
